“While sitting here drinking my coffee, I came upon your interview on the NY Times web page. I am very impressed with your motivation and athleticism. I know [a Paralympic cyclist] and he competes in cycling without the aid of his lower extremity. [He] is a motivational speaker and a World Champion Cyclist. Your interview and personality are as inspiring and motivating as getting my ass kicked by [him] in races! You are a great role model for all athletes – "able-bodied" and "less able-bodied." When not riding, I am a physician and will incorporate your story into my motivational talks with people who might be feeling sorry for their plight.
“Good Luck in Beijing and I look forward to following your career.”
